The newborn K2 was born on Saturday, 8/5. Father and baby are doing fine. The
first contacts were in the NAQSOP. What a gas to work US stations on 10w.
I have two small questions, both of them of cosmetic nature. 1) I ran short
about 10 lockwashers. In reviewing some the build
2) The heatsink has the new holes punched in the bottom for the
transverter but the holes were not covered with that neat tape
I used black tape to cover my holes.
Consider mounting BNC jacks or whatever fits there just to fill the holes.

Clark,
There is no grey tape - it is green (or beige) tape that has been hit
with the spray gun in the powder coating process.
You can use a bit of touch-up paint to coat the masking tape if you
want. The holes in the lower panel are sized for RCA jacks (the
transverter holes in the top
