>From time to time, mainly in trying to copy a weak signal with the 400 or 100Hz filter I would like to change the side tone note to contrast with the ringing note caused by the high noise level through the filter. My question is If you have written down all the settings for a given side tone (550Hz in my case), after aligning them with Spectrogram, and you want to change to say 750Hz can one confidently add/subtract 200Hz from the settings and expect the filters to be also accurately aligned on the 750Hz side tone?
Another thought in this vein. Is there memory space in the CPU to store say three user defined side tone settings. (There must be at least one set stored there now.) Perhaps one would have to initially set them up with Spectrogram but then you could just call them up or toggle through them? 73, Nigel ZL2DF _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
