My speaker was not working...
I had connected the speaker to the P5 connector on the control panel instead
of the RF board!
Yes, I'm seriously thinking of going into stamp collecting

My K2's internal speaker is now alive and well. I found the problem
around noon Saturday and I really felt like a big dummy. I had it
plugged onto P5 of the control board instead of P5 on the RF board
(behind the on/off switch). And,
