I received my new K3 this last Monday, put it together, and yesterday I
installed the 100 watt PA. I was putting the bottom covers back on and as I
was screwing one screw into the little standoff post in the center of the
bottom, the screw would not tighten. So, I took the bottom plate off to
discover that the little standoff had come loose from the screw that came in
through the RF board from topside.

So, I knew I had a loose screw and I had already put the top back on. Well, I
took the top off and looked and looked and looked. I could not find that
little screw and the lock washer. I did not want to power this thing up until
I found that screw. I guessed it might have rolled got caught under one of the
filters there in the center of the RF board. I took one out, no screw there.

I was about to take another filter out when I glanced to the right as I sat
there thinking and looked at the top lid with the speaker sitting there
attached to the lid. Well, what do you know. There was my missing screw,
magnetically attached to the speaker. Now, where was that lock washer. Sure
enough, it was also there but hidden a little bit but I found it and got it out.

Everything back to normal now. I am writing this just in case this happens to
anyone else -- look at the speaker magnet first.
