I know I am a day late and a dollar short because I receive the forum mail in journal form but some were suggesting hooking up a transceiver to monitor the K3's IF out.
Please note, SOME RIGS WILL PUT OUT A SHORT BURST OF RF OUT WHEN POWERED UP.
