How is PA overtemp/current displayed on the K3? During the WAE rtty contest at least twice I noticed that the rig was in TX, but there was no power output. I did not see any warning message on the rig's display. Next time called upon transmit was fine. However, later on I did get an unsolicited shut down on the same rig. PA temperatures did make it into the low 50's sending QTCs.
When a fault occurs, to the point of shutting off output power, is the fault display fleeting enough that I could have missed it? (I was running SO2R and not watching the affected radio).
