BB's = 14
SPC = 6
Score = 798(?) I'm a little confused about the scoring but I think this

First Bumblebee attempt. Not exactly a high rate contest, but I had a lot of fun. Being a little mobility challenged, I drove to the parking lot and "hiked" two trips to set up at my site (~1/4 mile RT) and two to tear down which totals about a half-mile hike. Heard a lot of stations I couldn't work ... I guess the K2 RX really is pretty good! Battery lasted fine and didn't need to go to Plan B (KX1 with LiPoly battery). Auburn temp was about 101, but I was in the shade with a nice breeze. Had to pack a little early due to an afternoon party to attend.

My spot was near one of the "holes" on the frisbee golf course at the park, and I got a number of visitors, so the literature I took got read. Yet again, the kids cared far less about the "magic of wireless" ... I'm sure they all had wireless in a pocket in their cargo shorts ... than they did at the idea of a competition.

Kevin, KD5ONS, of Sunday afternoon ECN fame, was booming in on 20 at 1823Z, and gove me a 559. How come I can never hear him on ECN?
