Bret, I don't think that will work - it is apparently not a USB to RS-232 converter, and who knows what the signals at the plug might be. It is advertised as a charging cable, so it likely only pipes the USB connector +5V to the connected device. You can get a KXUSB cable from Elecraft in 3
