Thanks Wayne. Yes, I was thinking of voice-mode. If I wanted to practice my
CW I would do that on the air with the hope that I would get some replies.
Always looking for that next QSO.
I did want to do all the adjustments for voice so I will turn the power down
low and hook up a dummy load

There is no TX TEST mentioned in the KX3 manual, but look for "Off-Air
Code Practice" -- If you select PTT-CW (by holding VOX) hitting the key
will generate only a sidetone (unless you tap XMIT) -- this is a direct
quote from my early manual, page 16.
