While we're thinking about this subject, consider being able to
copy the major settings between all Elecraft models (where it
makes sense). I could see a UI that said, Copy macros, Copy
memories etc. The user would select which chunks to copy.

That is an implementation detail. One could be fancy and prompt, or
simple and just carry over the first six (or three).
The issue is not carrying over the alignment from one radio to another,
since that is unique.
