I purchased the KXV3A kit earlier this year, but for various reasons, I haven’t
gotten round to installing it in my K3 yet!
I see references to a KXV3B kit, but can’t seem to find what the differences
are and whether there’s an upgrade path from ‘A’ to ‘B’.

The two main differences between the KXV3A and KXV3B are
- Availability of an additional 12m through 6m preamp. For these
bands you would have the option (for each band) of
Alan, I believe it was introduced with the K3S but
can be used in the K3. But all the alphabet
soup, K this and K that, may have me a trifle
confused :-)
