FW 3.44 and the NR/WIDTH

I tried looking hard for this in both SSB and CW.
The only pop I hear is when width moves to a new filter.
Is there some other mode
I also have noticed the audio blanking while shifting the WIDTH control with NR
engaged. The audio blanking is most noticeable in the F1 through F4 settings.
I do not notice any audio blanking in the F5 through F8 settings, however. The
fourth level settings in F1 through F8 are extremely

Lyle has not chimed in with the real cause, but I would believe you are
hearing nothing for the time period it takes to build (and fill) the DSP
filter.

No need to continue reporting this. We're aware of it in the current
beta code, 3.44, and will be addressing it in the next beta release.

try and your are right,with the NR engaged, in my case best result at F4-1,

a try and your are right,with the NR engaged, in my case best result at
F4-1, every time I move the WIDTH step by step,I hear a pop sound
command from the pilot.

I'm puzzled. If the new frills bother or confuse you, why don't you
simply settle back to whichever firmware version you are comfortable
with and ignore the new ones? The net effect is pretty much the same
for you without sacrificing the changes and upgrades other users are
still anxiously
