There was discussion earlier about advantages of a KX3 v a K3. Even
though the KX3 is much lighter, it shouldn't slide when pressing
buttons, since it is mostly a vertical press. I will, however, need
to wait until I acquire one to verify the advantage.

I got some stuff at Lowe's made by DAP. It is called "Blue Stick." I
took a small amount and rolled it into a ball then stuck it to each
foot. I can now press the power button and jack in and out the
headphones without chasing my radio around the shelf. Thanks for all
the advice.

I've used a small square of double sided tape under each foot.

Yep, but do I drink it and not care that the radio is crooked or put it
on the feet? Just kidding. :) Thanks for all the suggestions. I've
used the rubber mat in my toolbox. I just never thought of it for my radio.

Fun Tack!
A little dab under each foot and it's not going anywhere but it can easily be
cleaned off.
I use when I had my P3 on top of my K3, worked like a champ and everything
cleaned nicely when I moved it.
Also keeps all those DXCC framed certificates from tilting around on your wall..

I used that stuff to keep my key from sliding so easily on the desktop.
Cut little circles out of the stuff and glued them under each foot pad with a
tiny dab of rubber cement
so I could peel them off later if needed. Works pretty well, they key stays
put a lot better.

Double what Don said. I find the sticky factor wears off over time, and the
solution is to simply take a (slightly) damp cloth and wipe down the feet
and the shelf they sit on.

I've had no problem with the K3 feet on my shelves but those shelves may
have different surface stickiness than yours. When I have problems with
other devices moving around (mainly paddles), I put rubber kitchen cabinet
shelf liner under them. It's very soft and doesn't slip.

Just a TAD stickier -- clean the feet, they probably have accumulated
some dust and that makes them slippery.
If you need more than a "tad", look at some of the anti-slide shelf
lining that is used in RVs.

How would I go about making the feet on the K3 "stickier?" I don't want
them *stuck* to the shelf my radio sits on, but if I bump it or try to
plug something in, I chase it around the shelf. Is there something I
can use to make it just a tad stickier?
Thanks,
