Thanks to Leigh's (WA5ZNU) suggestions, I found the source of my noise right here in my own shack. It was a noisy (switching) wall wart power supply for my D-Link 7 port USB hub.
Jeff (WB5GWB) said he was also having some major noise at his QTH, and he found that his DSL router was causing some serious EMI for him. He was also unable to operate because of the noise. Thanks for all the help from those who responded. I appreciate it greatly. Jeff and I discussed how we procrastinated getting around to actually searching for the problem because of how difficult we thought the task was going to be. The thought of walking around the neighborhood for hours on end with an EMI sniffer, and having to call the power company to come out and investigate, or maybe have to deal with a not so friendly neighbor...it just seemed like too much trouble.
