I'm sorry you had so much trouble with your KWM-380. My experience is quite the opposite. I did send mine to be completely refurbished and calibrated and it is easily the quality of my KWM-2A and more. Techs who work on the KWM-380 are listed on the Collins Collectors Association website. I
