An idea which is not expensive, but very nice. I like my radio tuning knob to feel soft, warm and the key to the world.
Well, I discovered Ten-Tec has a soft rubber ring which slides over the K3 knob in 10 seconds and nothing needs to be done to the K3 knob. These soft rubber knob covers come in Orange, Red, light Blue, Charcoal, and Black. To each his own, but I like the feel very much. I believe they have them on their webpage, so google Ten-Tec if you are interested. They may have some at Dayton too.. don't know. I can send a picture of mine to anyone off line if interested. I don't work for Ten-Tec, but I do lean toward Elecraft and Ten-Tec since they are two of the main companies for our toys and they are run by first class Hams who listen to us in the bushes.
