I belive the K2's filters are much narrower thanthe nominal
indication. KI6WX measured around 350 Hz
for both the 400 and 700 s
I've recently completed my second K2 and have been running some side by side
trials with my FT1000mp.
My first time around, the K2 was my only rig and having nothing to compare
it against I had an element of self doubt that something I put together
could perform as well as an off the shelf radio.

You will not be disappointed in the K2 receiver - it is better than the K1.
More selectivity control, greater sensitivity, greater dynamic range, and
many other pluses. Both hear very well - in fact the test numbers place the
K2 in a class with $3K transceivers.

Hi Dale.
I have both the k1 & k2+ssb fitted the k2 has a better rx than the k1 you have
no worries if you enjoy the k1 you will love the k2 hope that helps

next step up the Elecraft ladder by purchasing a K2 kit. I have a question,
