I had a similar fail message and found that my filters were not set up properly. I did not have the correct filter specified for transmit. The rig produced no output. Maybe your filter setup got messed with. Does your transmit work otherwise?

Subject: [Elecraft] Transmit Gain Calibration Failed After KSYN3A Installed

I KNOW this is cockpit error (it always is) so I’m hoping someone can tell be what I am doing wrong. I just installed the two KSYN3A synthesizer boards in my K3 main and sub and successfully upgraded firmware to 5.14, and performed the installation check: SYN1 OK and SYN2 OK. When I tried to do the xmit gain calibration at 50 watts, this is the message I received: “Xmit gain calibration failed because transmit power did not reach the expected value. 50 watt calibration failed.” I even tried it at 5 watts and still didn’t work. Yes, I cycled K3 off and then on after firmware upgrade.
