[Elecraft] Using KXV3 with Kenwood SM230

The Kenwood SM-230 has an input center frequency of 8.830 Mhz. The KXV3's IF OUT is 8.215 Mhz. Not surprisingly, I see signals on the SM-230, but can't find them on the K3. How do I resolve this discrepancy? 73, Ken, K6LA / VY2TT ___ Elecraft
