Wow, I just finished putting the shielding modification (#K2VCOSHLDKT) in
both my K2s and it completely stopped the problem of my Ham II and Ham IV
rotator boxes getting into the K2s and causing me a nasty transmitted
signal. For some reason, I never had a speck of a problem with any of my
big amplifiers, but those rotator boxes were tearing me up. It is sure nice
to be able to transmit while turning my antennas.

Now, if the PTT arrangement can ever get a firmware fix, I'd be in heaven.

Thanks Elecraft!!

P.S. I never put our 1A Field Day results on the reflector, but we ended up
8th (about 1600 QSOs, 70% CW) in that category using a single K2/100. Next
year, we'll try to get a few bonus points more than the ZERO we got this
year. We were having too much fun making Qs and forgot to plan! ;-)
