I moved the beacon up a little to resolve a local conflict, beam now
headed east.

I went looking for your beacon but did not find it. Instead, I found K7IDX/B
at 50.06071 MHz. He is quite strong too. QRZ puts K7IDX in Brinnon which is
35.5 miles due west of me (in Kirkland) on the western shore of Hood Canal
south of Quilcene.

FWIW the K7IDX 6m beacon runs 5W (TX power out) into a dipole 40ft AGL aimed
E-W, according to a list of beacons which I still have filed on my PC. This
particular list might be out of date.
