Paul... This can most easily be done using Device Manager. There are lots of ways to get into DM, so I leave that to you. In DM find the device(s) you wish to deactivate [e.g. Ports (COM and LPT) or whatever], RIGHT-click on the particular device and select uninstall. That's it. John

Have to remember how Win 7 does these things. REMOVE the USB device(s) from the computer until you are done, and DO NOT reinsert them until after you are successful and have installed the correct drivers. What you call install and what happens the first time the drivers are called for are two

[Elecraft] strange question

I have had (2) different interfaces for my K-3 from Elecraft. And now the new one is starting to lock up on my Windows 7 machine. What is a good way to delete both sets of drivers, and then reload the correct one that is in use now. Is there a quick and dirty way? I hope to get some good news
