Tom: These sorts of questions are really simply answered with
straightforward experiments. Take a 1/8 stereo plug (or cable wired
to such a plug), use your ohm meter to determine which connector
(wire) goes to the tip, then (after placing the K2 in TEST mode)
short that connector (wire)
