Thanks Gary, I redid the power calibration and the tuner tunes the dummy load all ok. It still struggled with the 40 dipole (native swr, as measured by the K3, is 1.6:1) and would only get a match of 1.4:1. But I put in a short length of coax as you suggested and now it can find a 1.1:1 match,
