Hi,
As far as I know this is still not implemented. I agree it would be a vey
useful feature as an entire operating session can be recorded without any
extra equipment. I would think this is a must for many net control ops,
DXpeditions and many others.

Just learnt a new phenomena, the output is 12W on SSB, 5W on CW. All

Has this been resolved?
I had a similar problem with the current utility and firmware as of 26 Sept. I
had previously calibrated the S-meter to the XG2, then a few day later it was
town from S9 to S6. I'm not aware of anything I might have done in the
meantime to affect calibration. I

These are the two ways to do it.

Hi Scott,
I'm reviewing this issue with out PC software engineer. He already
knows what the problem is, and we'll be releasing an updated K3utility
(and K3 firmware, if required) as soon as possible.

I haven't seen this, but a number of K2 owners have added LP-PAN to
their rig using the Z1 buffer kit from Clifton Laboratories

instructions in the Z1 manual for two versions of the mod... one

That's probably the relay that bypasses the amplifier when very strong
signals are present. Try turning off

If that is the case then why is the latest KUSB driver a pl2303 type

The drivers for the Prolific chip set are there to support users of the
previous KUSB version that used them.
The current KUSB adapter is based on the FTDI chip set (I own one).
I'm having a problem with the BFO settings for RTTY. The outputs on the
different filters are centered at significantly different places in the

Jon,
The default BFO frequencies for the RTTY filter set will not be optimum
for your K2, you will have to optimize them the same as you must do for
SSB and CW if you are to achieve decent filters. A note of interest -
due to the varactors that were supplied with K2s over the past year, the
