There is such a thing as left-eyed and right-eyed...That is why my
instructor allowed me to fire the M1 from the left side...I had a better sight
picture from the left and scored better, which is what he was concerned about
because my life might depend on it...The real danger was from the bolt,

My phone, a Treo 600, can use .midi files as

only use it for unknown callers.
I just recently purchased a Treo 650.
By the way, this occurs both on battery power and external 13.8 VDC. On
batteries the output power was about 400 mW and on 12 VDC it was about 4 W.

What's a good user-group or email reflector for emtpy-state devices?
I had an overwhelming wave of nostalgia recently, and bought an HW-101 off
eBay. It works (about 1% of the time), but mostly doesn't put out much RF.

According to the builtin volt meter on my K2, my old Astron RS-20A is putting
out 13.3V (which I understand to be really more like 13.5-13.6 because of
voltage drop across the diode). A couple questions regarding that and the KBT2:
1. Is that adequate voltage for charging the KBT2? The

I totally agree with your last statement. I sell a couple of small kits,
and also offer them assembled. Even though the hardest one takes less
than 8 hours to build, a third of all orders are for assembled.

Good going! I had a peek at ur web site and am *very* (extremely) envious
of your multipig+ ! I want to build one of those real bad.
FWIW I am building my second K2 and have gotten as far as the second
alignment stage.. I am having too much fun listening to 40 meter CW to
start work on it
Hi Ron,
The proper charging voltage is 13.8 V across the battery terminals (!). To
get this voltage I have to supply my K2 (sn 2894) with ~14.1 V from the
power supply because of the forward votage drop caused by the diode.
Looks like you either need a separate power supply for charging or
Good thoughts Jerry!
Be careful guys!
