Hello all, I just finished building the K3 up to Test Calibration. Unfortunately, VFO A is not responding at all. I double checked and the encoder was plugged in correctly. I also verified that the VFO lock is not on. Everything was built with an ESD mat and strap. So I guess the next step is

OK, I found the answers. First, I found front panel remove/ install procedure in the KDVR3 manual. Then, when I proceeded to swap the encoders, I discovered that encoder A pins had slid just under the socket and not inserted. Oops! They looked just fine looking from the top with a flashlight :)
