I installed a 350w PS from Antec in one of my computers and the noise
disappeared.
One other computer, I installed a Corcom 6EF1 RFI module at the AC input and
that cleared up the computer hash on 30m. This drove me nuts for about two
years as I was hearing this warbling hash going up and down
Hi Gang,
For some unknown reason, I have a tone around 21.017 on the K3. Don't know
when it happened but just was on 15m (yea, the band finally opened to EU)
and heard the tone. I thought that it was a birdie but it is reverse of
signals on the band. This morning I had the tone again and went
Hi Gang,
Failed to mention that when the filter switches above 2.1KHz, the tone moves
up the band and ditto when above 2.7KHz, the tone moves up a few KHz on the
bandannoying to say the least...so the problem may be somewhere else in
the K3.

The problem seems to be inherent to the K3 itself and not the cabling as I
moved them around and the tone does not move at all.
Upon that, just wondering if loose hardware (i.e., screws, standoffs, etc)
could be causing the problem. Right now, it is not a show stopper, just a
little annoyance
Hi Gang,
Problem solved. Took top/bottom panels off and re-tightened all hdwe. Took
the KRX3 sub out and tightened whatever I could find. The TMP cables seemed
to be in the proper positions according to the photo in the KRX3 book. I
reseated all the TMP cables and noticed that TWO OF THE

Hi Gang,
Had problem with noise clicks while using the width control before this
latest fw upgrade. I thought that this was supposed to be addressed with the
latest fw. I have 3.52 installed and still have clicks in the headphones
when adjusting the width control. I thought it might be caused by

Help:
From what I heard that the price may be $2000+. That price may not be set
in stone.
It suppose to put out 500-600w even into the 6m band...neat!! What is nice
about it
if you are on 20m and have the amp set on 10m, it automatically goes to the
20m band
on the first dit or contact closure...full
Bill,
Sounds like a treadmill as my next door neighbor has one and cause problems,
mostly on the 30m band. He also has a Kenmore HE-3 washing machine which is
an RFI generator. My 30m 4sq is about 200 feet from his house and cause an
S9 hash noise on 10.103, 10.118, etc...PITA ! ! !
