Now that's something that Elecraft needs to work on, thier internal noise
reduction system. I find it almost useless, and I've tried it many times with
many settings.

I'll check the cable configuration next chance I get. Everything is working,
except for these two anomolies:
1. MKR movement is jumpy and
2. In the CONFIG menu, it will show 4800 baud when I press the DISP button even
while showing 38,400 when not pushed. What does that mean exactly?

I have a strange problem with my USB keyer. It also seems to suffer from some
sort of timing issue...it occasionally hesitates or stutters whithin
characters and it is very annoying. I don't understand how that can be
happening, any ideas?

I have a neighbor on the next street...our antennas are only about 800 feet
apart (according to Google maps). I know he doesn't run 1500 watts (luckily)
but I think he does run 300 - 400 or so. My question is, how much receiver
rejection and/or overload should I expect? He pretty much tears up

Subject: Re: [Elecraft] Activate voice memories by computer
Alan,
It's easy to activate the voice memories
That's what I mean, but I won't be using N1MM, but another logging program
(K4HAV's Win1010 for the 10-10 contest). I wish to activate the memories via
the keyboard (i.e. hot keys).

Yes, that is what I am getting at. I was hoping that someone had already come
up with a solution to do this. I have a call into K4HAV.
Open to any suggestions...
