[Elecraft] CW doesn't sound right

Turned the rig on and notice that the CW tone is not right. Mostly a bassy sound.. Not a clear cw tone sound like I'm used too. Not sure about rtty. No signals on the air. SSB reception seems o.k. but I don't work much SSB, mostly CW. Just not normal. Bob, W1EQ

[Elecraft] K3 and AL-811H

I just decided to run the K3 on CW for the CQWW CW with the AL-811H amp. I have used the K3 with amp on ssb and rtty. No apparent problems. First time on CW, though. I notice that relay on the amp doesn't sound the same as when I was using the amp with the MP.right at the 8ms setting.

I had a similar problem. I returned from St. Croix on Wednesday where I had antenna issues and had to use the ATU most all of the time. When I set up the K3 here in Ct. I noticed high SWR on 15 meters, where normally, with my steppir, there is no SWR. Shut off the ATU and everything was o.k. I
