I am using a Heil Gold Line microphone with a HC4 a HC5 cartridge.
Does anybody have TX EQ setting that they have used with these mic
cartridges. I know that EQ needs to be tailored for one's actual voice.

About two months ago, I built a K2 - SN 4998 , KDSP, KSB2, KPA100 everything
worked.
Yesterday I built the KNB2 K160RX boards after installing them, my audio is
very low except for strong SSB signals the sensitivity across all band
appears to have decreased. When using the XG2 signal

I completed the KPA100 everything works except I can't get the K2 to
communicate with Logger32. I setup the radio for COM1, 4800 baud, 2 stop bits,
no parity. Kenwood-all have toggled both DTR RTS on off. The cable is
wired correctly based on the manual. I've checked all the solder joints
I have progressed to page 46 when I go to the PA menu parameter, I see Off,
on, F1.10 E, but never see the Fan nor.
Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong or do I have a hardware problem?

I used Wayne Burdick's article to calibrate my K2. When I first tuned in WWV,
the zero beat was at .5. I adjusted c22 measured TP1(VCO) TP2(BFO)
until the two test points matched. Now WWV zero beats at 1.5 .
Should I have set my dial to 1.00 then adjusted C22?.

I started to do the 40meter tx power test when I set the control for 2.0

issue on 80 meters. I haven't tried it on any other band.
