I contacted the fellow from Kodiak who said replacing the 22MHz xtal
fixed his problem. I also heard from another ham who said that
Elecraft received some bad 22MHz xtals from a vendor and many
of them failed
I get it replaced and if it fixed
my problem.

What could cause this behavior?
Signal is going through T1 on other bands.
Could there be something drawing down the signal on 20 meters?
I looked for shorts and didnt see any on the filter board.

Very interesting Greg,
I can hear some signal on 20 but weak.
Sounds like we have identical problems,
I wonder what could have caused 20 to go out?
The K1 was on the shelf for a couple of months and was
working fine when I put it up. I dont think I did
anything dumb to cause it to stop

I would love it if someone would tell me what the weighting is...

Does the noise go away when you take the rig outside?
Does it go away with a different counterpoise length?
