When I installed 30m module i had exactly same syptoms as you describe. Found
that longest bare jumper on 30 meter module was contacting a pin on board near
TX section close to where it was soldered onto board. Maybe yours got jarred or
pressed down in that area some how.

I wonder if you could use an outboard tone decoder and tone encoder to
decode the 600, 700,800hz tone and key the tone encoder with its output,
setting the tone encoder to your desired listening tone. You could have it
drive a LED as well for visual indication. You may need outboard
If your antenna is actually struck by lightning, the antenna itself will
