During a normal rag chew after three or four minutes, the temp on my
KPA500 hits 70 degrees and the fans are at full blast. It is difficult
to hear over the fan noise even when using headphones. Running 480 watts
out (verified on a calibrated wattmeter) on 20 meters. SWR is 1.0:1.

I have a new KPA500. It works well on all HF bands but on six meters
with any more than 280 watts out I get a PA DISS fault. This is into a
500 watt dummy load. External Diawa CN 801 power meter power reading
agrees with the KPA500 wattmeter.

Is there any way to use tones other than 2125 to receive RTTY signals? I
can no longer hear frequencies that high. I know the FT-1000 MP has a
menu option to select lower tones for RTTY RX. I can't find any menu
option in the K3 that allows you to change the RX tones.

Trying to get my new K3 set up to work FSK.
When I set DATA MD to FSK D the radio transmits OK but I get no audio
out of the LINE OUT jack to see received RTTY signals.
When I set DATA MD to DATA A I get audio out to the LINE OUT jack and
can receive fine but the radio will not transmit
