Sounds like an issue with the T/R circuit, you'll find some reports in
the history of this list. I had a very similar case just one week ago -
in my case it was R7 which was blown. The original type seems to be a
51 Ohm (type 1206 SMD) resistor - I've used now two 100 Ohm 1/4 watt

When I tried to start one of the utility programs today I got an error:
(k3util:2054): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_insert_internal:
assertion 'hash_table != NULL' failed
I think this is just a warning but it was followed by a segfault...

A few years ago I had an issue with one of the push buttons at one of
the encoders (K3, SN #1160). This problem resulted in a complete mix-up
of the function assignments of almost all buttons in the front panel -
so I had to repair it. I decided to exchange all 4 encoders - because

which OS do you use? I'm using fldigi-3.12.3 under Linux (Gentoo,
compiled from the sources) and it works fine. But I'm using the hamlib
functions to control the transceiver and not RigCat...
