I've been using a CW Touch Keyer electronic paddle for a couple of years off
and on now and have settled on it as my main paddle.

Having had several high end paddles over the years, Morsetasten, WBL's and
Begalis I can say that the CW Touch Keyer paddle works best for me.

I like verrrrry close contact spacing...so in this case what can be better than
no spacing at all!!

Only the lightest touch is required to generate characters and the paddle is
very stable on the desk.

In my previous years as a government radio op I had to slap a bug around to
generate CW....not any more since I started using iambic paddles 40 years ago.

I recently purchased a CW Touch Keyer (P6) Mini-Paddle that I plan to use in
the field with my KX3....this paddle is extremely light so you need some way to
keep it still at the operating position.

I have a small brass plate designed for a small paddle that I will mount it on
for stability...sure it adds some weight but not all that much....I operate
portable a lot but I don't backpack at my age (grin).

Will start by just using small pieces of double sided tape to mount the paddle
to the small brass plate and see how that works.

I was fortunate to be able to play with the Begali Adventurer paddle recently
courtesy of my local Amateur buddy Bill, N2WG at our local Friday Ham Radio
luncheons...it sure is sweet...but so is the price (grin).

The CW Touch Keyer mini-paddle is a very low cost way to try a very light
weight portable paddle in field ops.

I'll send a report to the list on the overall operation of this tiny paddle
after some field use.
