What sort of protection are folks using for protecting their AUX-RF path when transmitting. I''ve just got the K3-10 and normally only run 5W. My antenna is an 88 ft dipole up 50ft configured either as a dipole on 40 and up or as a hat for the feedline working as a 50ft vertical on 80 and 160.

Jim, The K3 receive only inputs are protected internally with COR (Carrier operated relays). If you hear the COR relays clicking, then they are being activated by excessive RF. No clicking is goodness = no problem. 73, Don W3FPR Jim Miller wrote: What sort of protection are folks using for
