Hmmm ... I contest with an N3ZN single-lever on the right but ragchew with a Begali MagPro on the left, but not at the same time.  My Elmer, Art W6RMK, taught me to send right so I could write left in my log.  When logs no longer mattered to the FCC, I began to migrate casual Q's to the left.

Wow!  Those of us from a certain era built our stations from parts scrounged from discarded television sets using designs handed down by amateur ancestors and our mentors.  Most of the TV sets came from behind the local Radio/TV repair shop, not the town dump, but they were in the "free pile."
