Brian, I have both in my K2. Ty-wrap the battery wires and the KIO2 cable together, but do not put any ty-wraps at the ends of the battery. I also have the KAT2. In a similar manner, ty-wrap the speaker wiring to the KAT2 cable, but not at the ends of the battery. 73, Don W3FPR On
