Good Evening, A pleasant day today. Chilly, with rain, but there were openings in the clouds which let light blink through every so often. About one minute of sun for every hour today. I received reports of temperatures ranging from 96 degrees down to 60 degrees; none of which matched my low 50 degree day. I am glad it has stopped snowing for a week and hope that condition continues until November :) Conditions on twenty meters were good for all contacts. The lowest RST report I gave was 569. Only slight QSB with very little noise. Forty meters had its normal amount of noise but conditions favored only West Coast stations. I was able to land the NCS of the Elecraft SSB net but totally forgot I had never logged him on his K3 thus missing the opportunity to get his serial number. Sorry Phil.

KD5O(?) - Gary - ? I was unable to log the last contact due to missing his call three times. I have KD5Q and KD5 and KD5O none of which lead to a Gary. Gary, if you read these reports please send me your information via email so I can fill in my database correctly. The frogs in the nearby ponds have been silent the last few nights. I do believe it is too cool for them to sing. I have heard one local grouse drumming away but he has moved off into the distance. I was planning on stalking him but now he is too far off to determine a route to him. Maybe later he'll return to my property. Until next week stay well, 73, Kevin.
