I have decided to part with a few of my stack of idle transverters. Among
them are:
XV144
XV222
XV432
All 3 have the crystal oven option and in perfect working order and
cosmetically very good. Also have several printed manuals.
All 3 are modified to run on an external LO source. The LO mod is easily
reversible to use the original crystal and oven. Only a few parts and jumpers
need to be repositioned.
There is a SMA jack on the back panel for the external LO, you would need a
suitable LO source with output up to maybe 14dBm, each is different. I used my
Multiband LO box (DigiLo PLL based programmable frequency and level out with
band decoder) published in Jan 2020 QEX.
Looking for $350ea or $950 for all 3 (+shipping).
Also have a Microwave Modules 144-28 with 10W out, offers considered.
