Dave, I am at a loss to tell you what is going on.  The T/R switching in the K2 is all electronic, no relays involved. If a K2/100, break it down to just the base K2 and see if it is in the base K2 or in the KPA100. If you have the K2/10, remove the top cover which contains the KAT2. If it
