I notice beta firmware 4.48 (uploaded 2/29/2012) on the ftp site. The
release notes only list changes through 4.47 (10/19/2011). Can we see an
update of the firmware release notes to reflect what was changed in 4.48?

the K3 where you will see the info on the 4.48 firmware.

The features detailed for 4.48 are available in 4.47 in particular
remote operation. The date doesn't look so good either 2/29/2011
4.48 remains a mystery.

4.48 just added support for the K3/0 in the K3Remote mode. Nothing else with
regard to user features.
Without this rev f/w the K3/0 generates errors on power up, since there are no
DSP and RF components.
We will get the release notes updated shortly.
