I finally got around to installing my 700 Hz CW roofing filter
Just to clarify, Chuck is referring to a 700 Hz filter from the 2010 batch,
rather than
the current batch which is due to arrive in a couple of weeks. There are
still 2 filters
available for

some new firmware post 4.22, and yet I've seen no mention of it either here
or on the Elecraft website.
Have I missed something somewhere, or shall I find it under the tree in the

You're apparently forgetting to download the new firmware into the file folder
that is accessed by the Elecraft K3 Utility. Don't forget to unzip the
downloaded file.

OK guys, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but I saw that a new beta
FW release is out there but my K3Utility program can't seem to find it.
It downloads one file, K3UtilityVersionInfo.txt, and then says
Ready. I'm currently on uP 2.02 and that's what the utility says is
available as

width it was before as seen in spectrogram. Not only that, the top of this new
filter, even at 50 cycles wide, is FLAT topped. I imagine that is why it
