Oh, danke. Der Satz war aber auch absolut korrekt - seems to be even on points :) 73 Hans, DF3DD > Am 11.06.2022 um 01:56 schrieb Alan Bloom : > > Dein Englisch ist viel besser als mein Deutsch! > > > On 6/10/22 15:44, df...@darc.de wrote: >> Or this. While vacuuming it’s recommended to

Or this. While vacuuming it’s recommended to block the fan so it cannot rotate. In some cases, when the blades are driven bei the airflow too fast, the fan works as a generator and sends some voltage into the unit - which can be harmless but also can destroy sensitive electronics (if there is

I suggest taking the lid off of the power supply and inspecting the fan for dust. It can accumulate and affect the free rotation of the fan, generating noise. A vacuuming might be in order. 73, Kevin VE7ZD/KN7Q On June 10, 2022 1:18:51 a.m. PDT, "df...@darc.de" wrote: >Maybe it’s the

Maybe it’s the cooling fan of the power supply. When more power is needed the supply gets warmer and the fan spins faster - so you can hear it then. If it’s too annoying, there are more quiet fans with which you could replace the original fan. 73 Hans, DF3DD > Am 10.06.2022 um 07:37
