I don't have a KX3, but a friend does and he has a question regarding the KX3
receiver in a multi transmitter environment like Field Day. I would not expect
it to be as good as a K3, but is it usable? Anything special you have to do to
it? I'm thinking at a minimum

If you get the model with the roofing filters, it is actually a better
receiver than the k3 in a multi transmitter environment. With good antenna
separation you can run a k3 on the cw portion of the band and another on
the ssb portion without an issue.
