of the features. Here is my wish list for some minor improvements that I
believe would make the K3 an even more fantastic radio;
AFX Great feature! I am really start to like AFX when dxing on low bands,
especially in
based on operating type (rag chew, DX, Contest, etc.)
is also important.

Better yet ... allow PTT to select the input. Mic connector
PTT selects the Foster (front) mic, rear panel PTT (RCA)
selects the 1/8 mic input on the back and ACCESSORY connector
PTT selects the Line Input (computer) audio.

That's the biggest mistake that they've made on the K3 (at least so

Sometimes it doesn¹t and I haven¹t figured out when and why. It is a little
annoying having to ³NORM² filters when returning to a specific band and mode
after swapping around.
Filter bandwidth by mode makes sense. I
It makes a lot of sense for SSTV operators.

Actually there is a way to have a smart PTT. Use software PTT,
which can be assigned different definitions. The user or software
author might be able to send a command that would mean transmit and
only use the rear audio input for this If it were able to be overridden by
the hard PTT, I think
