True, but it's not nearly as flexible as the silicone, high conductor
count 'spaghetti' wire. I already have a roll of the powerwerx
red/black paired wire.

That isn't the same stuff. Let's compare the number of strands and the gauge of
the strands for 8 gauge wire.
Powerwerx zip cable: 133/30
Powerwerx flex cable: 616/36
Yes, the zip cable is flexible, but not as much as the other cable.
