I disconnected my P3 #24x from K3 #2545, and connected it to K3S #11xxx, using
a bnc cable, and the elecraft cable that goes from the TRANSCEIVER jack on the
p3, to the ethernet jack on the K3S. All firmware is the latest. The K3S is
connected to the PC via the K3S USB port.

I have also noticed this timing issue with WSJT-X 1.8.0 FT8, K3 #2545, an XP
laptop running under CAT control, with external U7 soundcard. WSPR runs
without timing issues. Past incarnations of WSJT have run on this same setup

My KPA500 used to be on a 220v line, but it is now in an area where that is not
possible. It is on 120v, in a 65 year old house. Further, I am running it on
a 10ft appliance type heavy extension cord. I cannot change these
circumstances for the forseeable future.

There has been some discussion on the KX group reflector of cyclic macros for
the KX3.
My question is, would this work on the KPA1500? Could a single macro be
