KIO2. The K60XV is not needed for the Elecraft transverters. Take a  
look at one of the transverter manuals for more information on  
connecting things.

True, but the K60XV is a *very* nice interface that makes using the K2 with
the transverters much easier and more straightforward, especially if you
want to use the K2 on HF as well. 

I don't think it makes any difference in the order of adding them, but I
have a K2/100 equipped with the K60XV, so I can't speak from personal
experience.
